A Knife Missed His Heart by One Inch

The knife missed his heart by only an inch—but not by accident. This powerful testimony shows how a mother’s faith, obedience, and Passover seed unlocked God’s promise of supernatural protection.

Rose declared God’s Word over her son after a violent attack—and watched God fulfill His promise of protection.

While watching Campmeeting and listening to the speaker teach about the Feast of Passover, Rose suddenly felt an urgent, unmistakable prompting from God to sow a Passover Seed into Inspiration Ministries that very day! She didn’t hesitate. She went straight to the post office and mailed her offering. Obedience in action.

When she got home, something felt off. “My son was just about to leave the house,” she recalls. “I felt some uneasiness about him leaving and advised him to be careful. But I had no idea why I’d said this, and he looked at me a little puzzled as he left.”

Still unsettled, Rose sat down and drifted into sleep on the sofa. That is when everything changed. When she woke and checked her phone for messages, her heart dropped. A text message stared back at her:

“Your son has been stabbed, and he’s at the hospital!”

In that instant, fear tried to grip her, but faith rose even higher. Rose immediately began declaring God’s promise in Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV): “No weapon formed against you shall prosper.” As she sped to the hospital, she called family and friends and asked them to pray for her son and to stand in faith with her on the covenant promise she was claiming from God’s Word.

What she walked into was every mother’s nightmare.

“When I arrived at the hospital, my son was in intensive care,” Rose reports. “Blood was pouring out of him, and three doctors were running around yelling, ‘He’s losing blood!’ They said he probably wouldn’t survive, but I kept praying and declaring that my son would live and not die!”

Only later did she learn how close she came to losing him; the knife had missed his heart by only an inch. God had fulfilled His promise and answered Rose’s prayers with a wonderful miracle! Her son not only survived, but he was released from the hospital just five days later. Today, he is fully healed and living normally, with no lasting complications.

“I’m convinced this miracle occurred because of the Passover Seed I had sown into your ministry that same day!” Rose declares. “In Exodus 23, one of the specific blessings of observing the Feast of Passover is God’s protection, and He was true to His Word, protecting my son from death!”
