How to Live a Life God Loves to Bless

Inspiration MinistriesBy Inspiration Ministries3 Minutes

This article reveals how to live a life God loves to bless by aligning with His timeless principle of seedtime and harvest. Through faithful tithing and generous giving, you invite God’s supernatural provision and protection into your life. When you choose obedience over withholding, you open the windows of Heaven and position yourself for His abundant favor.

Scripture is clear regarding how the work of the Lord is to be supported with your giving.

As such, when you choose to rob God of your tithes and offerings, you are rewarded with a curse. “Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, ‘How have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me” (Malachi 3:8-9).

Fortunately, there is a way to break this curse. By choosing to obey the Lord and sowing your tithes and offerings into the storehouse of God, He will throw open the windows of Heaven and pour out blessings on you until they overflow.

When you make the decision to honor the Lord with your money—giving Him the first and best of what you have—you will always have plenty!

A Perpetual Promise

Seedtime and harvest is a principle designed by God. This is His plan—not one devised by ordinary man.

After the flood, God made a promise to Noah. He declared. “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22).

Since we still enjoy the cold of winter and the warmth of summer, along with the brightness of day and the darkness of night, it’s evident that God’s plan for seedtime and harvest also remains.

The Freedom to Choose

From the moment of creation, God has given His children an awesome, life-changing power—the power to choose. He did not make you a puppet with heavenly strings; rather He gave you freewill to make moral choices. You have the responsibility to choose between God or Satan, life or death, wisdom or folly, and obedience or sin.

The decisions you make not only affect your future on earth;
they determine where—and how—you will spend eternity.

As William Jennings Bryan once said, “Destiny is not a matter of change, it is a matter of choice: it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.”

Remember, you can take control of your destiny by honoring the Lord’s principle of seedtime and harvest.

You’re a world changer! Sow a seed today and help share the Gospel with someone who’s never heard.
