Never Let Go of God’s Promises

It is never time to let go of the promises of God to “prosper you and not to harm you, to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). Whether you’re facing a thawing economy, mounting bills, or spiritual stagnation, God’s provision is still available to you. He wants to bless His children—not just with survival, but with abundance, peace, and purpose.

To walk fully in God’s blessing, we must position ourselves in faith. That’s why these six steps are essential to opening the pathway to His provision in every season of life.

Step 1: Reject Fear, Worry, and Unbelief

Fear, worry, and unbelief are not harmless thoughts—they are spiritual forces that war against your faith. Bind them from your mind in Jesus’ name. Speak life, not lack. Let your mind be renewed daily by God’s truth. “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control” (2 Timothy 1:7 ESV).

Step 2: Fix Your Eyes on the Right Source

Stop focusing on the problem. Start focusing on the Provider. God is your source, not your job, your spouse, or your savings account. Keep your eyes on Him, even when your natural resources fall short. He’s Jehovah Jireh—your Provider.

Step 3: Depend on God Alone

When we depend on our own strength, we miss out on God’s power. Surrender your need to control. Surrender your strategies. Trust God as your total and only source. “My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19 ESV).

Step 4: Give Generously and Expectantly

God’s financial principles always involve sowing and reaping. Don’t withhold what belongs to Him. Honor Him with your tithes and offerings, and trust Him to multiply it. “Give, and it will be given to you… For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you” (Luke 6:38 ESV).

Step 5: Walk in Obedience

Faith without obedience is powerless. Align your life with God’s Word and let your actions reflect your trust in Him. Obedience unlocks favor, because God blesses those who walk in His ways.

Step 6: Ask in Faith—Without Doubting

James 1:6 reminds us that when we ask, we must believe and not doubt. Doubt is the enemy of answered prayer. Instead, pray with the confidence that God hears you and will act according to His will.

Strength for the Journey

You don’t have to take these steps in your own strength. The anointing of the Holy Spirit within you empowers you to live by faith. He’s your Helper, your Guide, and your source of strength.
