Greg Koukl and Street Smarts

With our polarized culture, heated political climate, and flood of information to sort through, Christians often feel unsure and apprehensive about having discussions around their beliefs and convictions. Gregory Koukl’s book, Street Smarts: Using Questions to Answer Christianity’s Toughest Challenges, aims at equipping believers to navigate criticisms, questions, and challenging interactions they may face.

According to Koukl, “Street Smarts focuses on the larger issues themselves—atheism, the problem of evil, abortion, science and Christianity, and so on—giving insight on how those challenges falter and supplying questions you can use to point out those liabilities.”

Koukl is the founder and president of Stand to Reason. Gregory received his Masters in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics at Talbot School of Theology, graduating with high honors, and his Masters in Christian Apologetics with honors from Simon Greenleaf University. He serves as an adjunct professor in Christian apologetics at Biola University. He is the author of the award-winning The Story of Reality and the best-selling Tactics.

Koukl sits down with Inspiration Ministries’ John Farrell to discuss Street Smarts: Using Questions to Answer Christianity’s Toughest Challenges, as well as the number one mistake Christians make when defending and talking about their views, the top three questions non-believers ask and how to answer them, how to maintain Christ-like composure while engaging in difficult conversations, and much more.
