Your New Beginning

This woman had no hope. Her hemorrhage provided constant discomfort and even threatened her life. For twelve years, she did everything possible to find an answer, even spending all her resources. But instead of getting better, she became worse. She realized that if she kept doing the same things, she would have the same results. She decided she needed to do something she’d never done before.

Then she heard about Jesus. Suddenly, she had hope. She decided to seek Him, not letting anything distract her but pushing through the crowd until, at last, she touched His cloak. Instantly, she was healed, and “the flow of her blood was dried up.”

Many people are like this woman…before she heard about Jesus. They face problems that don’t seem to have solutions. They struggle with weight or finances, illness or addictions, family issues or dead-end careers. They have unfulfilled hopes and dreams. Yet, continuing to do the same things, they inevitably experience the same results. They need to realize that there’s hope in Jesus and believe that He can solve their problems.

But this change won’t happen on its own. These people need to do something. Like the woman, they need to reach out, seek Him, persist, and do whatever it takes.
