Living from the Ultimate Victory

What looked like defeat was never the end, and Living From the Ultimate Victory reminds us that Christ’s resurrection shattered death’s power and redefined what is possible—now and forever.

“We shall all be changed … in the twinkling of an eye … The trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable … Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:51–52, 57).

To the Romans and the Jewish leaders, the cross ended Jesus’ life and any threat He posed to their kingdoms and lifestyle. This was their triumph. His disciples seemed ready to concede defeat. They felt sad and discouraged, afraid and hopeless.

But all these people looked at events from their human point of view. With limited understanding, they felt that death was the end. The final chapter. Something to be feared and dreaded.

But God wanted them—and us—to grasp the power of the resurrection and its practical significance. He has shattered the barriers! There is no more sting to death! There are no more limits! We can have hope.

In our time, the world wants us to treat Easter as nothing but a social event or cultural celebration. And the devil continues to spread fear and discouragement, wanting us to accept limits and even defeat, to believe that God cannot do the impossible, to assume the finality of death.

But for Christians, the resurrection is not just a story, but the ultimate expression of God’s power at work. It is the dynamic, life-changing proof of the complete victory we have through Christ.

Rejoice in the resurrection! Don’t allow anything to rob you of its power. Through Jesus’ resurrection, God demonstrated that all things are possible in Him. Now and in eternity, He has given you “the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”!
