The Sereer

The Sereer tribe of Senegal, West Africa has a heart of giving to the needy, praying reverently, fasting and a genuine desire to please God. But because they are in an area that is historically immersed in the traditions of Voodoo and is dominated by modern Islam, the very sad fact is that very few people have heard the truth about Jesus. The documentary, The Sereer: Desperately Trying to Please God, follows a group of Christian missionaries who explore the culture, lifestyle, and belief system of the Sereer tribe as they share the truth of the gospel.
