Victory Against Satan

There is a real devil roaming the earth who is very much alive. “Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour” (I Peter 5:8).

As much as some people would like to ignore this subject, the reality is that Satan still prowls the land seeking to establish his devious plans.

The devil delights in distracting our attention from the Lord. Satan also tries to fill our mind with confusion and uncertainty.

If we give the devil one minute of our attention, that’s 60 seconds too much. Instead, start treating him as the defeated foe he actually is.

We Have the Power

Now hear the good news! Jesus was sent to earth to foil and ruin the schemes and snares of Satan. According to the Word: “The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil” (I John 3:8).

Even more, Christ came to confront Satan himself. Jesus was crucified, “…that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil” (Hebrews 2:14).

Jesus Christ’s victory at Calvary makes it possible for every Believer to take authority over Satan!
