As you enter a new year, choosing trusting God in 2026 can shape everything about your journey. When you decide to believe His Word above circumstances, you position yourself to experience His blessing, favor, and miraculous power in every area of your life.

As you step into this year, make a decision in your heart to trust God and believe His Word no matter what.

If you’ve ever wondered what your Heavenly Father desires for your life, 3 John 1:2 gives us a clear picture:

“Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.”

Notice that little word: all. God doesn’t just want you to prosper in one or two areas of your life. His desire is to bless your finances, health, emotions, relationships, really every part of your life.

But to experience these blessings, there’s a key step: trust. Proverbs 3:5 reminds us, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” Just as He wants to bless every area of your life, He asks you to trust Him with your whole heart.

That’s not always easy. Trusting God means making a choice, sometimes moment by moment, to believe His promises rather than relying on your own reasoning. While the world says, “seeing is believing,” the Bible flips that around: “We walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7). When we believe, then we see (John 11:40).

He’s Both Able and Willing

I’ve seen God’s healing power at work in lives across the world. And I’m still amazed when people wonder whether He still does miracles today. Friend, the answer is yes: He is not only able to heal, restore, and provide … He is also willing.

Whether you need physical healing, freedom from emotional wounds, or a breakthrough in your finances, remember: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). The same power that transformed lives 2,000 years ago is available to you today.

Yes, battles will come in your health, family, or finances. But don’t forget who you are in Christ. The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11). Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), which means you can walk in victory over sin, disease, depression, and lack.

Trusting God in the Waiting

Sometimes miracles don’t happen overnight. God may be working out His timing, or He may be shaping your faith through perseverance. Scripture says we inherit His promises “through faith and patience” (Hebrews 6:12).

As you step into this year, make a decision in your heart that you will trust God and believe His Word no matter what. Whether you’re asking Him for healing, financial provision, or breakthrough in another area, stand firm. Use the spiritual authority He’s given you. Refuse to let discouragement steal your faith.

God’s promises are sure. His blessings are real. And as you choose to believe, you will see His goodness in your life.
