The Lord Is with You

If fear is keeping you from living God’s absolute best for your life today, the Lord wants you to know an important truth: He is with YOU. In Isaiah 41:10 God reminds us, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (NKJV). Today, we pray peace for you, knowing God is by your side.

But notice He also promises something just as amazing in that same verse. He says that He will STRENGTHEN and HELP you, upholding you with His mighty right hand. Isn’t that incredible?

Throughout the Bible, God’s people learned to use these two important truths to overcome their fears. In Psalm 118:6 (NASB), the psalmist said, “The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” If Christ truly lives in you, and you’ve surrendered your life to Him, rest assured that He is with you, and He’s on your side to fight your battles.

Isaiah 54:17 says that no weapon formed against you will prosper. So what do you have to fear with God on your side? Perhaps you’re thinking at this point, But you don’t know what I’m going through. I’m walking through some VERY scary circumstances!

Our hearts go out to you if you’re dealing with situations today that are making you afraid—maybe in your health, your finances, or your family. But remember King David’s powerful statement in Psalm 23:4, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me” (NKJV).

Even if you find yourself walking through what seems to be “the valley of the shadow of death,” you can be confident that God is with you! The Bible says in His hand is power and might, and none can stand against Him. That’s your Heavenly Father. He loves you. His angels watch over you. If God is for you, who can stand against you?

Romans 8 says that the Spirit is praying for you! And nothing can separate you from His love…not tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword.

You overcome all these things through Him. Paul wrote he was convinced, “Neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38–39 NKJV).

No matter what your circumstances today, He will fight as a mighty warrior on your behalf. You can be confident of His love for you. Don’t be afraid…He is with you!
