A Time of Testing

If you ever want to experience the abundance of God, then you’ll have to overcome some challenges first. And the biggest tests of faith come when your circumstances seem to collide with the truth of God’s Word.

The question is whether you will side with your own thoughts, feelings, or perceptions about the situation, or whether you will choose to agree with what He’s already said in the Bible.

Rest assured, the enemy will provide us withlying symptomsand FEAR (False Evidence Appearing Real), and it will be tempting to believe him instead of believing God. But we must remember Paul’s instruction to “walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7).

We must not back down from claiming our inheritance in Christ. The enemy is looking to push us into a pit of poverty and fear, but the Lord has given us all the weapons and armor we need for victory (2 Corinthians 10:3-5, Ephesians 6:10-18).

God Wants You Restored!

As we said earlier, we know the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy everything in our lives (John 10:10). He comes to take away our property, our health, our prosperity, our family…essentially everything we hold personally dear to us.

But Jesus said, “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly” (John 10:10). Our Lord and Savior will stand by us and undergird us with His power. Nothing can get in the way of His overwhelming love and passion for us. He is our redeemer and will always restore what was lost! Hallelujah!

Even though the thief may have robbed you, God wants to reinstate whatever has been pilfered in the past. Even while the thief is divvying up the goods, God wants to bring you overwhelming blessings to replace what has been taken.

You see, God is not the type to sit idly by while we suffer at the hands of the enemy. If He were, He never would have given His precious Son to us in the first place. No, God wants us to be victorious. He wants us to live a life of abundance and complete prosperity in Him.

He desires to give us everything we cannot get on our own. That’s why He sent Christ the Redeemer to deliver us from our sins and grant us life in eternity with Him. That’s why He’s given us victory in our lives…because He cares for us and wants us to experience His blessings and abundance.

God is a God of new beginnings, and He wants us fully restored in all things because He loves us and wants to powerfully renew our hope in Him.
