More than three decades ago, God placed a vision in David Cerullo’s heart. It was a vision to share the light of the Gospel with people around the world who sit in spiritual darkness. It was a vision rooted in Scripture:

“The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea” (Habakkuk 2:14).

From the beginning, the mission was clear: to share the life-changing message of Jesus Christ with the nations. Today, that vision still reaches people around the world. It meets them in everyday moments through digital outreach. It guides them into a growing relationship with God through discipleship.

A Vision to Reach the World

David’s vision grew stronger during a visit to a remote region of Africa. While traveling through a small village, he noticed a faded Coca-Cola sign on the side of a building.

In that moment, he realized something powerful. A soft drink company had reached nearly every corner of the world. But billions of people had still never heard the life-giving message of Jesus Christ.

The moment deepened his conviction. He knew media and technology could help carry the Gospel to the nations and fulfill Christ’s command to take the Good News “to the remotest part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

That vision took a major step forward in 2005 with the launch of Inspiration TV. This global Christian television network carried the Gospel into homes worldwide. Over time, it expanded dramatically. Eventually, it would reach more than 200 million people across more than 200 countries and territories every year through biblical teaching, testimonies, worship, and prayer.

Yet the mission of Inspiration Ministries has never been about one platform. It has always been about reaching people with the Gospel—wherever they are.

Meeting People Where They Are Through Digital Evangelism

As media habits changed, so did the opportunity to reach people. More people began searching online for answers, hope, and meaning. Inspiration Ministries chose to meet them there.

As digital media grew, the Gospel began reaching more people online than through traditional channels. This shift greatly expanded global reach.

In response, Inspiration Ministries focused on digital evangelism. We brought the message of Jesus Christ to people through articles, devotionals, social media, and online teaching.

Today, most salvation responses connected to the ministry come through digital channels. This shift has expanded global outreach. It has also created new ways to walk with people beyond their first response—helping them grow in their faith.
