Walking by Faith: Power to Strengthen Your Walk

Hello, I’m Judy Jacobs and this is Strengthen Your Walk. I want to talk today about the power to strengthen your walk. One of my favorite Scriptures in all of the Bible is Ephesians 3:20: “Now unto Him who is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that you ask or think, according to the power of God that worketh within you.”

Watching Walking by Faith with Judy Jacobs!

There’s nothing greater than that verse. I’m telling you it doesn’t get much better than that one particular powerful verse that Paul gave to us through the power of the Holy Spirit. “Now unto Him … to Him …” Who is “Him?” He is the Great! The God of the universe! The Father of us all!

Somebody said, “There’s no God like Jehovah.” He is the great and the mighty One! “Now unto Him …” The One who sits high in the heavens and looks down low on the earth. The great I Am. “Now unto Him who is able … who is able?” Is there anything too hard for God?

When you look at the words, “Who is able … Now unto Him who is able …” And then Jeremiah says, “Call unto me because He’s able to do.” He says, “Call Him.” And He says, “Call unto Me and I will answer you and I’m gonna show you great and mighty things that you don’t even know about.” And then he says, “He is able … Now to Him who is able to establish you …” And he says, “He considered that God is able to raise from the dead …”

When you understand the ableness of the God that we serve, nothing is too difficult for Thee. “Now unto Him who is able to do …”  To act … to just move and to control … to do exceeding. Now unto Him who is able to do exceeding and immeasurably more.

You can’t even measure the things that God is able to do. Really? Are you kidding me? You can’t even measure it … exceeding. And then the next word is “abundantly.” Not just to exceed, but exceed abundant. You know when you have enough food on the table, then you have enough food on the table. But what does it mean when you have abundantly enough? That means there’s a lot of food leftover. That’s what I’m talking about when I talk about my God.

You can strengthen your walk when you understand who the God is that you’re serving. “He is able to do exceeding, abundantly …” Not just to exceed but to exceed abundantly, superabundantly above and beyond. He wants to do that. He wants to put it in overdrive when it comes to abundance. And then above … more than almighty … so much more … far beyond all. He’s able to do exceeding, abundantly above all … the whole thing. I mean everything. I mean in all forms. I’m talking about all or any or everything or the whole … everything!

When you consider who your Father is, the Bible says that heaven is His throne and the earth is His footstool. Then He is able to do all of that … that we ask, that we request, that we petition. He says, “Ask and it will be given; seek you will find; knock and the door will be opened.”

“All that we ask or imagine …” to exercise the mind. Is there anything inside your mind that you just … I don’t even want to voice what I’m expecting God to do. He understands your voice so He says, “I’m able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that you ask, think, or even imagine according to the power that worketh within you.” The power comes from God. The power is not yours, the power is God’s.

Strengthen your walk by being in His Word. Strengthen your walk by talking to Him every day, taking Communion, and loving Him every single day.

God bless you and strengthen your walk!
