Inspiration Ministries Arrives in Antarctica

It has been a long journey, but after seven years of sowing seeds Inspiration Ministries has finally arrived in Antarctica.

In February 2024, four residents in Antarctica made decisions to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior through Inspiration Ministries’ salvation efforts. The Christian media ministry, based in Indian Land, South Carolina, began sharing the gospel through Facebook and Google campaigns in 2017.

“After seven years of praying and sending the Gospel to Antarctica, we received our first indicated salvation from people living and working there! Hallelujah!,” stated David Cerullo, Founder and CEO of Inspiration Ministries. “This is a powerful picture of seedtime and harvest. Though we saw no immediate fruit from our research, we continued to sow … and continued to pray … and continued to believe that with God, all things are possible.

“He is faithful indeed, and I thank Him for the now four souls from Antarctica who have declared Jesus to be their Lord and Savior.”

Antarctica, which is both the largest ice sheet in the world and the largest desert on Earth, at most, has 5,000 scientists living there at the peak of its summer months. In the winter, that number drops to around 1,000. The continent’s largest urban area is the McMurdo Station, operated by the United States Antarctic Program, with 1,000 residents during the summer and 250 in the winter.

With the four individuals from Antarctica proclaiming Jesus as their Lord and Savior Inspiration Ministries now has at least one person come to salvation through their efforts on every continent on Earth.

Inspiration Ministries’ goal is to reach 50 million indicated decisions for Christ by 2030. With more than 5 million souls reached in each of the past two years, Inspiration Ministries is on its way to reaching that lofty goal.

“Thank you friends and partners of Inspiration Ministries who so faithfully sow your seeds for souls. We couldn’t have this amazing impact for the Kingdom without you,” remarked Cerullo. “In 2023, together we received over 5.2 million replies from people who said they asked Jesus to be the Lord of their life through our salvation initiatives.

“Thank you for all you do!”
