A Late-Night Moment That Started Something

One sleepless night, Karen was flipping through channels when she paused on an Inspiration Ministries broadcast. She recognized the truth being shared and felt prompted to respond—so she did.

That simple decision began a relationship that would shape the next several years of her faith journey.

Karen became a partner with Inspiration Ministries and began receiving regular ministry communications. Life moved forward. “I’ve been praying for 25 years for my family to know Jesus—and nothing changes.”

Together with a prayer minister, she brought her burden before God once more. But this time, something different happened—not around her, but within her.

When Prayer Changes the Praying Heart

A few months later, Karen called back. Not with frustration—with joy.

“I changed,” she said. “I’ve turned from the things I knew I shouldn’t be doing and rededicated my life to God.”

She laughed as she said it. Karen had expected God to change her circumstances. Instead, He started with her.

As she continued calling the Prayer Center—not just in crisis but consistently—her faith deepened, and change began to appear throughout her life. Her relationship with her mother and son began to heal. Financial pressure eased as she worked her way out of debt. A reimbursement she had prayed for was unexpectedly approved; fees she owed were dismissed without explanation. She found joy in blessing others. Gratitude replaced striving.

She even began praying faithfully for the salvation of coworkers at the mental health facility where she volunteers.

Karen discovered that breakthrough wasn’t just something God gave her—it was something He grew in her.

Today, Karen still tunes in for teaching. She continues to give, pray, and reach out for support. Her prayer life didn’t end when her circumstances improved—it deepened.
