There’s No Place for Fear in Your Finances

Inspiration MinistriesBy Inspiration Ministries3 Minutes

One of the first things to attack your mind when you’re facing a financial crisis is the spirit of fear.

When unexpected emergencies crop up like car repairs, doctor and hospital bills, household maintenance costs, or any overdue bill that you can’t pay because of lack of finances, fear begins to torment your every waking thought and distracts you from focusing on what’s really important: God’s protection and provision.

Satan will use every tactic to bind you with fear until you no longer look to God as the supplier of your needs.

Satan’s goal is to use the spirit of fear to stop you from giving to God and thereby block the flow of God’s blessings back into your life.

To survive your time of famine and break away from Satan’s distracting spirit, call on the Lord in prayer to bind the spirits of worry and fear from your mind. Your Heavenly Father knows Satan’s distractions will keep you from acting in faith on His promises, and He will help battle them if you ask Him.

Fear Has No Place in Your Life

When you ask the Lord for His divine strength, protection, and provision, remember this promise:

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (II Timothy 1:7)

Knowing this, you’ll be able to recognize the spirit of fear the moment it attacks your mind. By calling on the Lord’s strength and promise, you’ll be able to reject fear before it even has a chance to take root.

Remember, you have the power, not Satan. Satan’s power was destroyed by the love of your Heavenly Father:

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil (I John 3:8)

Take authority over the spirit of fear and command it to go . . . in Jesus’ name! God has given you the power and authority, through the Holy Spirit, over the power of any enemy.

Jesus said, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19).

Always remember that the Holy Spirit living within you is far greater than Satan!

You have the authority God has given you through His Son, Jesus Christ, to fight anything that takes your focus from Him; but your relationship with Him must be strong. Does He know that your spiritual focus is on Him? Have you asked Him in prayer to protect you and guide you? If not, and you feel that you’d like to reconnect with Him and recommit your attention to Him, please use the link we’ve provided below.
