My Gambling Bondage Is Broken!

What a difference a year can make … especially when you’re overwhelmingly blessed by God’s favor.

Early last year, Margo woke up to a Campmeeting broadcast playing on the TV. Tired of the financial stress she had endured for years, Margo responded to the call to commit to sowing seeds for one year. In faith, she believed God would break the stronghold of gambling that had existed in her life and open the way to economic stability.

A retired military veteran with a disability, Margo’s financial struggles began in her years as a single mom. Each passing year, her fixed income needed to stretch further as the rent on her two-bedroom apartment skyrocketed. Margo feared being kicked out of her rental home. And if that wasn’t enough, she had a twenty-year addiction to gambling that squandered the resources God entrusted to her. With all of that in mind, Margo committed to sowing seed into the Good Ground of Inspiration Ministries.

God’s creative ways of working were not obvious at first. It was several months before Margo recognized His handiwork. One day on her way to the casino, her car broke down. Unable to indulge her gambling habit, Margo committed to wisely managing her finances according to God’s ways. And God’s ways WORK! In less than a year, Margo was able to purchase a condominium with three bedrooms and a wood-burning fireplace.
