Find Rest in God’s Company

Labor Day in the U.S. is often a day filled with picnics, barbecues, parades, fireworks, and parties. Many people also consider today the unofficial end of the summer when most swimming pools close and a new school year is just beginning.

However, the reason for this holiday is to pay tribute to working men and women, without whom our nation’s economy would cease to function.

We hope this Labor Day you have an opportunity to rest and relax with family. While you’re enjoying time with your loved ones on this special holiday, we hope you find the rest your soul needs and cherish the true peace that can only be found in God’s presence.

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).

As you celebrate today, we pray that you take the time to reach out to Jesus and thank Him for this day of rest and that you may find rejuvenation at His side.
