Joyous New Year!

As the clock strikes, and 2021 dawns, you can trust three things will always stay the same: the steadfast love of our Father in Heaven, the redeeming power of the cross, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Although it is the season to make new plans, set higher goals, and hope for a better tomorrow, we can trust that no matter what the new year brings, it holds a promise on which we can rely:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).

When we trust Him with every area of life, we can make our plans for the future, knowing that whatever comes our way, His plan for us far exceeds our imagination. It is my prayer for you that when you look back over the year gone by, you can join the psalmist and declare:

Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare (Psalm 40:5 NIV).

I wish you and your loved ones a happy and prosperous New Year as you seek to glorify the Lord in all you do.
