How the Resurrection Changes Everything

Because sin’s curse was broken and blessing restored, we can see how the Resurrection Changes Everything points us to a life no longer defined by defeat but by Christ’s risen power at work in us.

“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us … so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith” (Galatians 3:13–14).

The resurrection of Jesus changes everything! His resurrection is our proof that God the Father accepted His sacrificial death on the cross for us. We are made righteous in God’s sight by our faith in the finished work of His Son!

The resurrection testifies that Jesus perfectly fulfilled the old covenant Law and ushered in a new covenant of salvation by God’s grace. The apostle Paul wrote that God “saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:5).

But many believers overlook a vital aspect of the cross and resurrection: Jesus reversed the curse of sin and death that plagued humankind ever since the first sin in the Garden of Eden. He broke the curse of sin and sickness, poverty and death, and makes His supernatural blessings available to us through the Holy Spirit.

Because of the resurrection, the devil no longer has any claim over you! He has no power that you can’t overcome by the name of Jesus! You can take dominion over the enemy in Jesus’ name, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

God wants you to experience a life of abundance and blessing because of the resurrection power of Jesus at work in you. Renew and deepen your relationship with the risen Lord. Live in His resurrection power!
