The words of the Bible are not just ink on paper or images flashing across a screen. They actually unleash spiritual power that changes lives. As Jesus declared, His words are “spirit” and “life” (John 6:63). In fact, the Bible reminds us that it can bring health and healing.

This makes no sense to nonbelievers and skeptics. For them, the Bible is just a book. But they are blind to its spiritual reality.

The Bible tells us that, for those who believe, the Gospel is “the power of God” (Romans 1:16). His Word “is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit.” It is “able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12).

These are not theories but facts. They are truths that apply at every stage of life.

Remember these principles as you face problems. Yes, there is much to be learned experts, from education, and from those with experience. But if you want to receive all that God has prepared for you, start with His Word. Read the Word. Confess the Word. Study His Word.

As you declare the Word, you will find faith rising. God’s promises will start flowing for you, along with His wisdom and understanding. His confidence will rise in you. Mental and physical health will improve. You will find peace for your soul.
