Determined

Before the Israelites entered the Promised Land, God told them that they would face opposition. But He promised victory if they obeyed Him. With Him on their side, “no man shall be able to stand against you,” for He would put the “fear of you upon all the land where you tread” (Deuteronomy 11:22-25).

Yet many Israelites did not believe His promises and failed to achieve victory. The descendants of Manasseh, for example, confronted Canaanites who were “determined to dwell in that land.” So, the tribe of Manasseh lived in a condition of continuous failure.

In our lives, we may face people like these Canaanites who seem “determined to dwell in the land.” We can face opposition that seems invincible and hold every advantage.

These are moments to remember that we have God on our side. With His help, we can achieve victory. But we must obey Him and follow His commands. We must move forward in faith, believing His Word. Be prepared spiritually and equipped with His power. Be filled with His Spirit. Be sensitive to His leading. Trust in Him to guide us.

Today, regardless of what you are going through, remember the Bible’s promise that God wants you to experience victory. He wants you to have victory in your finances, relationships, health, and every other area of your life. Believe Him. Be determined to accept nothing less than victory and His best for you.
