Before God’s Throne

Do you ever feel that your prayers don’t make a difference? Or do you wonder whether God hears you when you pray? Do you wonder if praying is a waste of time? If you think these thoughts, remember what the Bible says about prayer.

In his revelation, John saw a Lamb who took the book from the One who sat on the throne. Before the throne were twenty-four elders who “fell down before the Lamb.” Each of them was holding “golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.”

Here we see a picture of all of our prayers being collected before God’s throne. We see prayers of all kinds. Long prayers. Short prayers. Prayers from children and adults. We see prayers by new believers and experienced spiritual warriors. Your prayers are there, too!

Every time you pray, your prayers are part of that collection before God’s throne. None of your prayers are forgotten. All of them make a difference.

What have you been praying about? Do you know people who have needs? Do you have problems that seemingly can’t be solved? Do you need wisdom and direction? Do you have a burden to pray for your country? No matter how long you’ve prayed for these issues, don’t be discouraged, and don’t give up. Keep praying. Keep believing!

God hears you whenever you pray. Seek Him boldly today. Join the angels and elders in Heaven. Worship Him.
