When Jesse finds her husband Chaz (Philip Boyd, The Mulligan) cheating, they divorce, but she still helps her now-ex-mother-in-law (Marilu Henner, Taxi) pack up her small-town home. In the process, she disrupts the local church service with challenging questions, clashing with the local pastor, Ben (Joe Williamson, Grey’s Anatomy).
Still, clashes aren’t always bad. Jesse and Ben find they’re made for each other. But is the congregation ready for their relationship? And is her ex? •
