The Loss of Her Baby Birthed a Message of Hope

Carlo L’Chelle Dawson has a message of hope that came from the tragic loss of her baby. She wants to inspire you to fulfill the potential God has placed within you. It is her passion to proclaim:

You are not here by mistake.

You have been created for a purpose.

The birth of her message came through the stillbirth of her son. “Through the loss of my son, so much was birthed. At first, I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t understand.”

Carlo cried out to God and poured out her grief in words and song. Soon she began to see that her words brought comfort to others—and gave them a voice in the process. Her son’s short life began impacting others through the changes it brought to her. After her mourning, Carlo stepped forward, intent on living each moment to the fullness, the abundance God wants for each of us.

She’s intent on helping others do the same. An author, poet, storyteller, and teacher, Carlo calls herself an edutainer who inspires others to make an impact on the world. She does that through historical impersonations, workshops, motivational speaking, and even children’s books.

“I love stories,” Carlo says with obvious delight. “They create worlds and help us learn about each other. People are people, and we all want to be heard and loved.”
