Seize the Moment!

I once heard an old preacher say, “The opportunity of a lifetime must be seized in the lifetime of the opportunity.” In other words, there are strategic moments in time when we must take action or forever lose the chance.

Today we’re living in a time of great shaking upon the earth, and this provides a great opportunity for God’s people to heed Isaiah’s timely prophetic message:

Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you (Isaiah 60:1-2).

Most believers have faced serious spiritual battles the past few years, but God’s Spirit is on the move. Best of all, Satan’s time to wage war against God’s people is getting short!

I’m convinced that the devil is more aware of God’s prophetic

timetable than are most Christians. We can see this from an intriguing statement about the End Times in Revelation 12:12:

“Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows he has a short time.”

So how does the devil know that his days are numbered? He knows this because he recognizes the prophetic signs! Satan knows the Bible, and he sees that the Biblical signposts of the End Times are occurring at a rapid rate. Israel has become a nation again. Jerusalem has been built up as a great city. Jewish people have returned to the Holy Land from all over the earth. All of these signs are a clear fulfillment of Biblical prophecies.

Participating in Biblical Prophecy

The prophetic sign that most alarms the enemy is found in Matthew 24:14: “This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” This is one of the most significant signs of Jesus’ return: He won’t come back until the Gospel has gone out to all the nations.

Many of these precious souls live in nations where it’s illegal to tell people about Jesus by traditional preaching. But we live in a new day, when technological advances have erased many of the governmental and cultural barriers. As Isaiah prophesied, “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined” (Isaiah 9:2). Hallelujah!

A Strategic Time

During this strategic time in history, we have such a privilege to partner with Inspiration Ministries to take the Good News into all nations.

Satan sees that the light of Jesus Christ is overcoming the darkness, setting millions of people free from the lies of Islam and other false beliefs. He knows his time is short, yet he is powerless to stop these new ways of sending out the Gospel.
