Changing God’s Mind

Do you need a change of seasons?

Daniel 2:21 says, “He changes the times and the seasons.”

Some of you have been waiting for your season to change. Daniel plainly says that God is a God who will change your time and your season. If He wants to open up the Red Sea, He’ll do it. If He wants to get water out of a rock, He’ll do it. If He wants to raise his friend Lazarus from the dead, then He can, and He will.

And if He wants to change your situation, guess what? He can, and He will.

When God wanted to annihilate the people because of their disobedience, the Bible says that Moses stood firmly in the way and said, “God, let me just tell You something. Do You remember your covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? You said, ‘In blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply you.’ But God, if You kill off all these people, then everybody will say, ‘Look what God did. He brought them out here to kill them.’” And the Bible says that God did what? He changed His mind.

You’re in a season that’s getting ready to change. Why? Because you’ve been calling out to God, and you’ve been crying out to him. Maybe it’s been a season of growth, or maybe it’s a season of going through some situations when God says, “I’m not going to get you out. I’m just going to get you through it.” The breakthrough you’ve been waiting for is coming now.
