A Father’s Day Devotional: Bible Verses to Honor the Fathers in Your Life

Father’s Day is a beautiful opportunity to honor the men who have shaped our lives—fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and spiritual mentors who have guided us with love, wisdom, and faith.

Whether biological or spiritual, the role of a father is rooted in God’s own design. Scripture makes this clear:

“For I have chosen him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing righteousness and justice” (Genesis 18:19).
