God Always Heals

God’s healing is not just possible—it’s part of His loving nature because God always heals! Discover what His Word says and what may be blocking that healing in your life.

Understanding His Nature, and Removing the Roadblocks

Isn’t it comforting to know that Scripture, the testimony of the saints, and personal experience all agree on one powerful truth?

God always heals.

Healing is part of His character. It flows from His deep, everlasting love for His children. And whether the healing comes instantly, gradually, or eternally, He never fails to restore what is surrendered to Him.

What Scripture Says About His Healing Love

The Bible is full of verses that reflect God’s desire to heal us—not only physically, but emotionally, relationally, and spiritually.

  • “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you”
    (Jeremiah 31:3 ESV).
  • “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ” (Ephesians 2:4 ESV).
  • “If you give diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God … I will put none of the diseases on you … for I am the LORD your healer” (Exodus 15:26 ESV).

These verses point to a God whose nature is not to harm, but to heal. His mercy is active, not passive. And His love reaches into the deepest places of our pain.

What Can Block God’s Desire to Heal?

While God’s will is always to bring healing, sometimes we unintentionally block that healing through spiritual resistance. Common hindrances include:

  • Unbelief—Doubting His power or His love
  • Pride—Trusting in ourselves more than in Him
  • Unconfessed sin—Remaining in rebellion or disobedience
  • Fear—Allowing anxiety to cloud faith and expectation

Each of these can interfere with your ability to receive what God freely offers. Healing is not something we earn—but it is something we must be willing to receive.

If you’ve been seeking God’s healing and haven’t yet seen the breakthrough, take time to examine these areas.

Seek Humility First

One of the first steps toward healing is humbling yourself before the Lord.

Ask Him:

  • Is there something I need to confess?
  • Is there a place I haven’t surrendered?
  • Is there an attitude I’ve allowed to take root that blocks Your Spirit?

James 5:16 gives us this wisdom:

“Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much” (NASB).

God often uses the refining process of repentance to clear the way for His healing power to flow.

Offer Him Your Prayers

At Inspiration Ministries, we believe in the healing power of prayer. And we know that sometimes, in seasons of pain or discouragement, it’s hard to pray clearly on your own.

Our prayer ministers are available to agree with you in faith, lift up your needs, and help you take the next step toward wholeness.

“He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction” (Psalm 107:20 ESV).

You are not alone—and healing is closer than you think.
