United in Worship

We have all heard them. The critics and skeptics. Advocates declaring their version of the truth. Men and women openly defying God’s Word, mocking believers.

As we look around, we see politicians, business leaders, entertainers, and others focusing on themselves, ready to reject Biblical principles in order to indulge in personal pleasures. We see generals who threaten war and people denying God’s timeless truths. We see people spreading false doctrines and persecuting believers.

These actions may anger us. Frustrate us. Concern us. These are moments to remember God’s perspective. Remember that He sees every action and hears every word. Remember that in the end, “all the nations will come and worship” before Him.

Paul captured this same spirit when he wrote, “at the name of Jesus every knee will bow…and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord” (Philippians 2:10-11).

Yes, the Bible says that one day every one in every nation will confess that Jesus is Lord! Everyone! And they will bow before Him – even those who defied and denied Him and those who rejected His Word and opposed the Gospel.

You can be confident and at peace, for God knows how everything will end. He has declared “the end from the beginning” and promises that His purposes will be accomplished (Isaiah 46:10). Let your heart overflow with praise! His works are great and marvelous! He alone is holy! He is worthy!
