Trusting God’s Appointed Time for Your Breakthrough

God’s Appointed Time reminds us that He has a perfect plan and schedule—He moves at just the right moment to bring your breakthrough.

“The LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying, ‘Let the people of Israel keep the Passover at its appointed time” (Numbers 9:1–2).

God told Israel there was an appointed time for them to observe Passover. He was specific about the time and what they were to do. He also gave them detailed instructions for other feasts and special occasions.

Some Israelites might have wondered what was so important about these specific days. God wanted them to know that these days were important because He has a calendar and acts at appointed times. With Him, nothing happens by accident.

These days remain special to God. During these appointed times, if we obey God’s Word and do what He calls us to do, He will intervene in our lives to bring change … breakthroughs … blessings … and answers to prayer.

You may feel like nothing will change. It may seem that your prayers will never be answered, you’ll continually be plagued by the same problems, and you’ll never know what to do. But God has an appointed time for you. He will act at just the right time, giving you the breakthrough you need.

Don’t give in to discouragement or allow doubt to enter your mind. Make sure that you remain faithful. Serve God with your whole heart in every situation.

Keep sowing seeds with the time, talents, and treasures God has given you. Keep believing. God knows your needs, and He hears your prayers. Have confidence that there’s an appointed time for your breakthrough.
