Totally Complete
•2 MinutesThis man had been sick for 38 years. As a result, he had lost all hope and felt that nothing ever would change. But Jesus made him totally well just by speaking a word.
How easily we can be like this man! So accustomed to our problems that we lose hope and assume that nothing can change. We even can doubt that Jesus can make a difference.
At times like these, we need to remember how quickly and easily Jesus can change everything! Remember: He came that we might be totally whole and might have a more abundant life (John 10:10). He offers to meet every need. He did not die on the Cross so we could be sick and depressed, lonely and poor, discouraged and afraid.
Yet countless people suffer with afflictions for years. Many remain overwhelmed with difficulties and problems. Multitudes feel hopeless and discouraged. Many have given up.
No matter what we face, we need to remember that Jesus came so we could be totally whole. We don’t have to suffer under the weight of sin or be burdened by loneliness, fear, or anxiety. We don’t have to be overwhelmed with worry. Instead, we can be confident that He wants to bless us, in every area.
In your life, don’t be content with anything less than all that God has prepared for you. Remember: He desires for you to overflow with abundance, experiencing health and favor, and enjoying His blessings on your finances and relationships.
Don’t be crippled by doubt or robbed of all that He has prepared for you. Believe Him. Trust Him. Have faith.
