Take Action Now

How easy it can be to read the Bible, and wonder why we don’t seem to be experiencing the promised blessings. It can be easy to wait on the sidelines, passively watching, filled with doubt and uncertainty.

The Bible urges us to remember that we have a role to play in receiving the fulfillment of these promises. This requires that we take action. That we do it now and step out in faith.

Paul told the Corinthians that they should not think about some day in the future but realize what is available right now. That now was the accepted time. Now was the day of salvation.

It is possible to “receive the grace of God in vain.” This can happen when we lack faith, or feel that His promises may not apply to us. But the Bible tells us that God already has heard us. We do not need to wait, worry, or wonder. His promises are true, right now!

You may feel that God’s promises may not apply to you. You may think that His grace and power might be available, but might not be sure when that might take place.

Today, stand on God’s Word! You do not have to wait, or be filled with doubt. Believe that His promises are true for you, and that He is with you, right now. He hears your prayers, and His power is available for you.

Renew your faith in God. Don’t doubt or wait, but call to Him in confidence. His grace and power are available to you. And His promises are true for you, right now.
