Seasons of Your Life

Inspiration MinistriesBy Inspiration Ministries2 Minutes

There may be times when we don’t seem to be experiencing God’s blessings. It may seem like our prayers aren’t being answered, or that our problems aren’t being solved. During these moments, we can feel that nothing ever will change, that God may have forgotten us. We can give up, or feel discouraged.

The Bible urges us to remember that God has a plan for our lives. He has a unique timetable for each person, and for every event and stage.

He urges us to look at our lives like the seasons of the year. To remember how there is “a time for every purpose.” In His timetable, He has made everything “beautiful in its time.”

The perspective of seasons can help us understand the situations we go through. We experience seasons, just like the seasons of the year. There is a time to Sow, and a time to Reap. And there may be “winters” when it may seem that nothing will grow (while things may be changing in ways we may not recognize).

Today, you may be going through the “winter” of your life. You may not see the fruit that you desire. It may seem that God is not answering your prayers. But the Bible urges you to remember the seasons of life. Spring and summer may be just ahead, and so is the Harvest of autumn. Make sure that you keep Sowing Seed, and expecting a Harvest of blessings from Him.

Do not be discouraged. Never give up. Keep Sowing Seeds from the time, talent, and treasure you have been given. And remember to be patient, trusting God. If you are faithful, He will bring you through this season, bless you with an abundant Harvest, and show you that there is “a time for every purpose under heaven” in your life.
