Good News
Good News reminds us that sharing the Gospel brings joy, peace, and salvation—not only to those who hear it, but also to those who carry it.
“How delightful on the mountains are the feet of one who brings good news, who announces peace and brings good news of happiness, who announces salvation, and says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!’”—Isaiah 52:7 NASB
A word of happiness, peace, and loveliness. This is how the Bible portrays the Gospel message. Prophetically, this passage referred to Jesus and His unique ministry. But the same description applies to all who are God’s messengers.
The Bible talks about feet that are “beautiful upon the mountains.” They are beautiful because they bring good news, proclaim peace, and spread the message of salvation!
The Good News is a word of victory, declaring that God is ready to replace sadness with joy, trials with celebration. It’s a message of peace in the storm, hope and encouragement, salvation, and victory for those who are struggling!
Around the globe, this message of the Gospel is desperately needed. We see troubled hearts, stress and worry, wars and rumors of war, and uncertainty about the future. The philosophies of the world fail to bring their promised results, yet in the midst of these uncertain and perilous times, the Gospel offers overwhelming blessings, salvation, peace, and victory for all who will receive it.
Remember that Jesus came to bring you this Good News! Walk in His victory, and accept His message of hope and salvation in your life. Be a messenger of the Gospel so that others may know the Lord’s peace and victory.
