God’s Prosperity Promise

God’s Prosperity Promise

Did God really desire His people to prosper? Yes! He told the Israelites that they would prosper in all they did! They would realize that He did want to bless them abundantly. But there were conditions: They needed to obey Him and keep His Word.

In ways they may not have anticipated, this command would present challenges. They needed to obey even when it meant doing things they didn’t want to do. They needed to trust Him in every situation and be confident that He would fulfill His promises. They needed to keep the words of His covenant and believe that He desired to bless His people in every way and that He wanted to grant them health and prosperity.

Remember that God’s promises apply to you too! He wants to bless and prosper you. This starts by understanding the importance of obedience, living according to His Word, and surrendering to Him.

The Bible is full of principles that can help you prosper. Remember the importance of tithing (Malachi 3:10) and the principle of seedtime and harvest (Genesis 8:22). As Jesus taught, remember that if you give, “it will be given to you”; others will give to you in abundance (Luke 6:38).

Don’t let doubt keep you from experiencing all God has prepared for you. Seek to be trustworthy. As you are faithful, fully expect that He will reward you with His abundance and blessings.
