Committed to God’s Vision

It certainly is true that “where there is no vision, the people perish.” But, in a way, the opposite also is true: Without a people, the vision perishes. Without people who believe in the vision and obey God, the work will not be done to fulfill His vision.

God has a vision. He has a plan for this world and for our lives. He wants to bless us. He wants us to experience His fulness and joy. He wants to meet our needs and lift our burdens. And He wants us to accomplish tasks for Him.

But God allows each of us to make decisions and choose the path we want to take. We can do what we want, seek our own ways, and follow our own direction. Or we can cooperate with Him, obey Him, serve Him, and let Him direct our path.

The Bible reminds us that God looks for people who are committed to Him, who trust Him, and who are willing to serve Him to make His vision become a reality.

Pray that God would show you more clearly than ever before just what His vision is for you. Dedicate your life to serving Him; cooperate with Him to see that His vision becomes reality.

He promises that we will be happy if we keep His Word, submit our time, talents, and treasures to Him, and dedicate our lives to fulfilling His purposes.
