At the Right Hand of God

Peter described how Jesus ascended to a place of ultimate power and authority at the “right hand of God.” There, every power in Heaven and on earth is subject to Him. He is Lord over everyone and everything—every disease, every demon, every nation, every person, every idea, every army, every politician, every king, every business.

As Paul wrote, Jesus is “far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named…not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come” (Ephesians 1:21).

Because of Jesus, each of us has access to this unlimited power. In His name, we can exercise authority. Through His name, the demons will flee. Fear is banished. Problems are solved.

Opposition that seems impossible can be conquered. The greatest needs can be met. We even can change lives through prayer!

Remember: We have a Savior who has no limits. Jesus is Lord of all. Every power on earth is subject to Him. He simply looks for people who have faith to believe Him, stand on His Word, and exercise their faith. The question you must ask is if you really believe that this is true.

Dare to believe this truth: Jesus is ready to hear from you. You can call on Him right now. He is there, at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for you.

Don’t think about your own limitations or the resources of the people and forces that oppose you. Don’t worry about the size of your problem. Call on Him with faith, and believe Him for mighty things. He is waiting to hear and answer your prayers.
