Cancer-Free by the Power of God: A Breast Cancer Prayer Testimony

When Essie heard the news, it was the kind of moment that could shake any family.

Her granddaughter Jasmine was six months pregnant. She should have been preparing for the joy of holding her baby girl. Instead, she was facing a breast cancer diagnosis and the fear that comes with words no expectant mother wants to hear.

“They will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover” (Mark 16:17–18).

For Essie, this was not a formula. It was faith in a living Savior.

Faith in the Middle of Fear

Jasmine began chemotherapy while still pregnant.
