Driven by competition and the quest for victory, professional athletes train and push their bodies. But how many people really know how to achieve this victory?

Around us are many distractions, deceptions, and lies. Many simply cave in to pressure and popular opinions. They follow the lifestyle encouraged by the media and believe the shallow advice of celebrities.

It’s easy to think like the world! How easy it can be to trust in our own experiences and talents or in the talents, ideas, and experiences of others!

God is our source of victory. He may use other people or other experiences, but true victory comes only from Him. We don’t need to feel defeated by sin, habits, financial burdens, disease, or poverty. We don’t have to be oppressed by evil, temptation, doubt, worry, or fear. God is ready to give us victory … today!

Right now, proclaim the promises of God. Declare that you are born of Him and that “Everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world.” Proclaim by faith that you have victory in Him!

Are you born of God? Then you already are victorious over the world. Do you have faith in God? Then you have a victory that conquers the world. Don’t accept anything less than God’s full victory in your life. Proclaim that victory, and live in victory … today.
