Flourishing

Flourishing isn’t about wealth or success; it’s about living righteously, rooted in God’s Word, and fulfilling His purpose for your life.

“One who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like the green leaf.”—Proverbs 11:28 NASB

God wants to bless His people. This has been clear since the beginning when He placed Adam and Eve in a lush garden. Even then, He provided forgiveness and sent Jesus, so we could have abundance (John 10:10).

King Solomon wrote that the righteous would “flourish.” Flourishing speaks of a plant that no longer is just a seed. It has gone beyond mere potential and is bearing fruit, fulfilling the design of its Creator.

In the same way, God wants individuals, organizations, and nations to flourish and fulfill their potential. But this flourishing is only promised to those who are righteous, obey God and His Word, seek first His Kingdom, dedicate their lives to Him, and make Jesus their Lord.

The Bible promises blessings to “the person who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,” whose “delight is in the Law of the LORD,” and who meditates on His law “day and night.” Such people “will be like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers” (Psalm 1:1–3).

Remember that your Heavenly Father desires to bless you. He wants you to come alive and thrive in every area of your life. Live for Him. Seek first His Kingdom. Trust Him to help you flourish.
