Blessed to Bless

When we live as those blessed to bless, God pours out even more—guiding us, strengthening us, and making our lives fruitful for His Kingdom.

“If you offer yourself to the hungry and satisfy the need of the afflicted, then your light will rise … the LORD will continually guide you … you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.”—Isaiah 58:10–11 NASB

The Bible makes it clear that God blesses us, so we can bless others. Instead of thinking only of ourselves, we’re to share from the resources He’s given us. He asks us to care about the people around us and be moved by their needs. As God enables us, He wants us to feed those who are hungry, clothe those who are naked, and reach out to those who are hurting.

When we generously give to those in need, the Lord promises to give us even greater blessings. Like a sunrise, He will bring light when everything around us seems dark. He will give us hope, even in situations that seem hopeless. He will be there to guide and protect us in every circumstance. Though there may be economic or spiritual droughts and perils, God will deliver us from worry and satisfy our needs.

God also wants to bless us with health, strength, and energy to accomplish our purposes. Our lives will be fruitful, like an oasis in the desert. Others will see productivity, results, and a bountiful harvest of God’s blessings—witness that we’ve obeyed His Word and His Word is true.
