Changing Lives in Costa Rica

In Costa Rica, God is moving in powerful ways. Through the many outreaches of Inspiration Ministries, the Gospel is changing lives in Costa Rica and other nations around the world, restoring hope, breaking fear, and awakening believers to their God-given purpose.

Fewer than five million people live in the small Latin American country of Costa Rica, but each of them is precious to God. Ben Cerullo took a team there to proclaim the Gospel and equip believers to reach their nation for Christ. What happened in those meetings shows how God is still drawing hearts, breaking chains, and igniting revival today.

Cristal’s Story: From Hopelessness to Purpose

Before Cerullo visited, a young woman named Cristal had reached a breaking point. She shared, “My life had no purpose, and I didn’t want to go back to church. I just wanted to disappear.”

Her life shifted when she heard Cerullo share their story of running from God until landing near death in a hospital bed.

“When I heard Ben’s story,” Cristal explained, “I remembered that God did the same for me, sending an angel to deliver me one night when I almost died.”

But the most profound moment came when the Lord restored her awareness of His calling: “When I heard Ben’s teachings, God spoke to me and said, ‘Cristal, you have a very big purpose, but you will have to go through My process.’”

This revelation became a defining turning point. What once felt like emptiness was replaced with purpose and hope. Cristal now testifies: “I give thanks to God for using Ben’s example to show me my purpose and give me new hope!”

Katherine’s Story: From Fear to Faith

Another young woman, Katherine, had first experienced God’s presence during Inspiration Ministries’ time in Costa Rica six years earlier. That encounter had brought her back to the Lord, but during the last time Inspiration Ministries was in Costa Rica, God worked in her life in an even deeper way.

“When Ben returned this year, my life was impacted again,” Katherine said. “I came back to my first love, and God brought me to a higher level. My fears have gone, and they have been replaced by faith.”

Katherine shared how God used this time to deal with lingering failures that had haunted her. Instead of focusing on her past, she realized that God was preparing her future.

“The Lord has brought me from failure to victory, and I’m so grateful for the great example and blessing.”

The Ripple Effect of Faith

Cristal and Katherine’s stories are just two examples of how God is changing lives in Costa Rica. But the impact doesn’t end there. When hearts are transformed, families, churches, and communities are also touched.

The trip demonstrated that the Gospel not only restores individuals but also builds up the Body of Christ by equipping believers to walk in freedom and faith.
