Which Do You Choose: God’s Will or Satan’s?

Life is filled with choices that shape your future. Which do you choose—God’s will or Satan’s? Every decision either moves you closer to God’s destiny or gives the enemy more ground in your life.

God Has a Plan—So Does the Enemy

The Bible is a book about destiny. It tells of the great plan God has for your life. Just as He told Abraham He had a special place and plan for his life, God has a special place, a land of promise, and a plan for your life!

That’s a wonderful, hopeful truth, but you must also remember that Satan is intent on fighting you every inch of the way as you pursue the Lord’s destiny for your life. Just as God has a plan for your life, so does the devil.

• God’s will: health, prosperity, peace, and hope.
• Satan’s will: sickness, poverty, anxiety, and fear.

The enemy seeks to destroy you spiritually, physically, financially, and relationally. But you have a choice: God’s will or Satan’s.

Recognizing Enemy Strongholds

In many ways, the choice is yours. If you’re like many believers, your life is somewhere in-between. You want God’s will for your life, but you also see ways Satan has hindered you from full obedience and victory.

Do you see places in your heart where you’ve allowed the enemy to build strongholds? Have you left places unsubmitted to God? Any ground give to the flesh becomes a foothold for Satan.

If you’re struggling in marriage, finances, health, or bound by fear, addiction, or loneliness, know this: God’s protection equips you to overcome the enemy and walk in victory. 

What’s Your Destiny?

Don’t let fear intimidate you or keep you from God’s promises. Aggressively take the battle to the enemy.

Jesus spoke of this offensive approach:

From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force (Matthew 11:12).

As a believer, you will never claim your full blessings in Christ without a fight. Victory comes when you stand boldly, resist the enemy, and embrace God’s destiny.
