Your New Season of Blessings

Just as we recently transitioned from winter to spring, God wants to bring you into a new season of another kind: a season of blessings!

I hear from so many of our friends and Inspiration Partners who’ve experienced difficult seasons recently in their health, finances, families, or peace of mind. But I have a powerful message for you today, based on Acts 14:17…

The Lord wants to show you His goodness…send you
rain from Heaven to water the faithful Seeds you’ve
Sown…and bring you into “fruitful seasons” of Harvest!

God has special days and seasons on His calendar. This month we will celebrate the Feast of Passover, one of His three “Appointed Times” each year to bless His people with supernatural blessings and breakthroughs (see Exodus 23 and Leviticus 23).

Along with the feasts of Pentecost and Tabernacles, Passover is one of three “Holy Convocations”—special times of the year that we’re to celebrate FOREVER—“throughout your generations” (Leviticus 23:21). The Lord calls these special dates on the calendar “MY appointed times” (Leviticus 23:2), days meant to be set aside for HIM.

God says He wants to meet with us during these three Appointed Times…to receive our praise, our consecration, and our offerings. He promises that if we faithfully observe these special seasons, He will bless us, meet our needs, and intervene in the difficult circumstances of our lives.

A Time for Everything

King Solomon reminds us of the importance of recognizing God’s special times and seasons:

For everything there is a season,
A time for every activity under heaven…
A time to plant and a time to harvest
(Ecclesiastes 3:1-2).

I believe that this verse contains a powerful message of encouragement from the Lord…

Just as you’ve faithfully obeyed God during your “time to plant,” you will experience great joy during this “time to harvest.”

You see, the celebration of these three feasts is a way to synchronize our lives with God’s cycle of Seedtime and Harvest. As we are faithful and obedient to bring our special offerings to Him during these feasts, God keeps His Word to bless our lives in supernatural ways during the next season. Just as the Israelites learned this rhythm of living in the Covenant Promises of God, we must learn it too!

Planting Along with Tears

Sometimes it’s not easy to plant our sacrificial Seeds into God’s Kingdom. Often it requires a real step of faith. Perhaps we’re facing a heartbreaking situation, and our financial Seeds are Sown along with our tears.

The psalmist speaks of this very situation:

Restore our fortunes, LORD,
as streams renew the desert.
Those who plant in tears
will harvest with shouts of joy.
They weep as they go to plant their seed,
but they sing as they return with the harvest
(Psalm 126:4-6).

Are you one who has Sown financial Seeds amid pain and tears? Then this is your season to Reap a great Harvest—“with shouts of joy”!

“In Due Season”

Few things in life are more difficult than waiting for our Harvest. We live in a “microwave” society that expects quick and easy results, and sometimes we’re like that in our prayer life.

However, farmers know they must patiently wait for their season of Harvest. If they’ve faithfully planted and watered their Seeds, it’s only a matter of time before their Harvest comes:

…for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap…And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart (Galatians 6:7-9).

God has a “due season” for you—a time to Reap your Harvest of blessings. And I believe that season is at hand.

In addition to observing Passover this month, we also celebrate Jesus’ Resurrection. What a great reminder that no matter how dormant our Seeds may temporarily appear, one touch of the Lord’s resurrection power can change everything!

A New Season of Joy

Maybe you struggle to envision what your new season of blessings can look like. You’ve been “stuck” in your present circumstances so long that it’s hard to imagine life being any different.

But here’s the kind of transformation the Lord wants to give you:

Look, the winter is past,
and the rains are over and gone.
The flowers are springing up,
the season of singing birds has come,
and the cooing of turtledoves fills the air.
The fig trees are forming young fruit,
and the fragrant grapevines are blossoming
(Song of Solomon 2:11-13).

My friend, I believe your winter season is coming to an end. Instead of winter’s chilly winds and barren branches, God will cause flowers to spring up around you and birds to sing their beautiful songs again. The fragrance of your blossoming grapevines will fill the air as He restores His fruitfulness and abundance to your life!
