Will God Help Me?

Will God help me? When feelings of despair and anxiety have arisen, has that question entered your thoughts? Christians know the peace of God is found in trusting Him. Yet, sometimes, those unwanted emotions enter and cause doubt. Remember that doubt is not from the Lord. The Father is with us always and will provide comfort and peace when we seek Him.

“I can’t believe this is happening. I’ve prayed and prayed. What should I do? The answer isn’t coming the way I want. Will God help me?” Have you heard someone speak those words or have you experienced those thoughts?

“My sin is too big. I’m ashamed. Will God help a sinner like me?” “I don’t know what to do. I need help.”

Friends, loved ones, neighbors, strangers, and maybe you have expressed these thoughts, too.

Prayer is the open door to conversation with God. Through prayer, we have the opportunity to give thanks to the Father, repent of sins, and to seek His will. Remember that God’s answer will be in His timing and in His way. His answer can bring peace and comfort.

Is there someone you know who doubts God will help them? Is that person you? God loves all of His creations. He is with us at all times. When doubts enter, remember that God is the Creator. He never leaves. There is not one person better than another. God cares for everyone.

Certain situations or events may cause us to feel “less than” and that maybe God won’t help us because of what we have done. If that is the emotion, know that God is waiting to forgive. Open the door of communication with the Father. Ask Him for help. Nothing is too small or too big for God. Your concerns are His concerns.

Praise God, ask for forgiveness of sins, share your thoughts and concerns with Him and also, share Your joys. When God answers prayers, thank Him. His answer is always the right one.

Yes, God will help. Seek Him. Praise Him. Thank Him. You are loved by the Father.

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged” (Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV). This passage in the Bible tells that God will never leave. Even when we have sinned, God will search for His children and find us.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28-29 NIV). God opens His arms and longs to provide rest to His children. Seek Him always.

“My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth” (Psalm 121:2 NIV).

Prayer Asking God for Help

Father, I am asking for Your help. Only You can provide what is needed. I repent of my sins and give thanks for Your forgiveness. Thank You for all the blessings You provide. Please forgive my doubt and worry. I know doubt and worry are not from You. Help me, Father. I need You. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

In His Name,
