God’s Plan for Your Home

One of my favorite Scripture verses describes God’s wonderful plans for us as His children:

I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. – Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

Isn’t it great to know you have a Heavenly Father who wants to bless you and give you a future filled with hope and blessing? And just as He has a plan for every area of your life, He wants you to know today that His plan includes the healing, restoration, and prosperity of your family.

This is not just a nice theory to me and our staff at Inspiration Ministries. Every month, we hear from Inspiration Partners who’ve received a breakthrough in their marriage, children, or finances. Sometimes this happened when they prayed with one of our anointed prayer ministers. At other times, God touched their life when they watched one of our broadcasts or took a step of faith to Sow financial Seeds into His Kingdom.

Friend, even though I don’t know what you may be going through in your family today, I DO know this: God is faithful. He is able to transform even the hardest heart or most difficult financial situation. Nothing is too difficult for Him (Jeremiah 32:17).

Regardless of the method God has used to provide the turnaround, I am always thrilled to receive testimonies like these:

A crumbling home restored…When I Sowed my first financial Seed, my entire life was crumbling. My daughter was on drugs, and my husband was enabling her. Our marriage was almost over. Finally, my daughter checked into rehab, and my husband recognized the harm he had done. God is a God of miracles!” – D.A., Alabama

God stepped in… I was hooked on cocaine, alcohol, and pornography, and these were destroying my life. But thanks to your prayers for me and my family, God stepped in and changed things.”– Demetri, West Virginia

Conflict resolved… “My wife and I had been having a serious conflict for seven weeks, but things began to straighten out after I planted my financial Seed. Now we’re getting along fine. Thank God!” – J.B., Tennessee

Prepare for a Turnaround

God loves you more than you can comprehend, and you never need to doubt His concern for you, your spouse, your children, or your grandchildren. When you entrust your family into His hands, you can be filled with joy and peace—regardless of your present circumstances.

Because families are so important to God’s purposes, they’re also one of Satan’s favorite targets. Yes, you may have to BATTLE in prayer for your loved ones. But please know that our Inspiration Prayer Center is always available to stand with you until victory comes.

Amid the battle, take time to read God’s Word and claim His promises for your family. In the pages of Scripture, you’ll find Divine help to strengthen your faith…provide courage…impart wisdom…and offer reassurance that the Lord truly can break through in the lives of your loved ones.

Remember: God has not planned defeat for you or your family. As difficult as your situation may be, with God there is always a way, for He is our Way-Maker and the Healer of our hearts.

Follow God’s Instructions

Friend, it’s also important to remember that the Bible not only contains God’s promises, it also contains His instructions. While He is fully capable of bringing about a rapid turnaround in your family, often time is needed as you commit yourself to obeying His Word and Sowing Seeds of forgiveness and kindness in your family relationships. Regardless of how long it may take, obey God and don’t give up until the breakthrough comes!

I have been blessed with a very good marriage. Instead of being anything I can brag about, I’m sure our successful marriage is mostly attributable to God’s grace and the fact that I have a fantastic wife.

Yet even though we have a wonderful marriage, that doesn’t mean we don’t have disagreements from time to time. The key is that we’ve committed ourselves to work through things, to forgive, and to not let the sun go on our anger (Ephesians 4:26).

If your marriage is struggling right now, I encourage you to order God’s Answers for Your Marriage, where I explain in greater detail some powerful tips for improving your relationship. You also may need to seek some Godly counsel in order to get a better perspective on your situation.

If you forget everything else I’ve written here, remember this:

God has a plan for your family, and it’s a GOOD plan.

No situation is too difficult for Him.
