Equipped for the Win

Have you believed the lie that being saved means life will be easy? The Christian life is the best life you can live, but it is tough – so tough it can only be lived through Christ with the help of the Holy Spirit and the divine weapons God provides!

When you accepted Jesus into your heart, everything changed. Before you were saved, most of your struggles revolved around temporal issues like jobs, money, and health. But faith opened a door and shoved you into the middle of a spiritual battleground. You immediately became an enemy of Satan, and your battles, while appearing as earthly problems, became high-stakes warfare with eternal potential!

For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! (2 Corinthians 4:17 NLT).

Accepting Jesus is the best decision anyone can make … and learning to live the victorious Christian life is the next stage in the process. Recognizing the roots of the battles and temptations you face allows you to choose the right weapons and the best strategies. Spiritual wars must be fought with spiritual weapons.

You Are Equipped for Victory

God didn’t call you onto the battlefield to watch you lose. He is a good Father and never sends His children into battle unequipped. He has given us the most powerful weapon in the world: His Word.

Every battle is a fight for TRUTH and His Word is truth. Your mission is to uncover the lies holding you captive and replace those lies with His truth. Living in freedom is God’s plan for you (John 8:32). That’s why I’m sad that many Christians remain captive to Satan’s lies. Spiritual strongholds like addiction, poverty, and depression can’t be broken by personal strength alone. But with Jesus in your life, the power of God is in you, and victory is guaranteed when you use His strength instead of your own!

Defeating Satan’s Lies

Friend, your enemy Satan is a liar. That’s his nature. Scripture tells us he’s “the father of lies” (John 8:44). We learn to believe the lies he tells about God, the world, other people, and ourselves. Those lies become so familiar we begin to feel like they are truth; that’s how lies hold us captive. When we build our lives on a lie, problems overwhelm us and can even paralyze our faith!

If you have financial, health, or relationship problems, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the lies you’ve believed. Then go to the Word for the truth to kill that lie! God refers to the Bible as “the sword of the Spirit” (Ephesians 6:17), and when you put His Word in your heart, you destroy the schemes of Satan and begin living in the inheritance God gave you!

Stay on Guard!

As a child of God, the devil has no rights in your life. But if you forget who you are, the enemy will steal from you and wreak havoc in your circumstances. Speak over your problems and your life as a child of the King and as a joint heir with Christ. Your words create your realities, so don’t take them lightly.

Don’t stop pressing in until the victory comes. As a Christian, you have power over the devil, but he’s not giving in without a fight. You must realize your authority and use the spiritual weapons God has given you!

May God awaken the mighty warrior inside of you! Through His anointing, you can pull down strongholds in your own life and win the victory that God makes possible through the sacrificial blood of Jesus.
