Spend Time Focusing on Jesus

Word spread throughout Jerusalem that Jesus was coming.

The crowds had heard about His wonderful teachings and the miracles He performed. And they welcomed Him with a triumphal shout, “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord, even the King of Israel.”

But, soon afterward, when Jesus met with His disciples, He did not sound like a conqueror. Instead of talking about power and shaping a rebellion, He spoke about being a servant. He was not planning a revolt or plotting a movement. Instead, He said that the only way to bear fruit was to be like a grain of wheat that falls into the ground and dies.

While Palm Sunday reminds us why we need to praise Jesus, we also need to reflect on what was important to Him that day. He knew that popularity and worldly success are temporary conditions. But if we want to bear fruit, we need to commit everything to Him, sow seeds with the resources we have been given, be a living sacrifice, and serve Him faithfully.

Today, focus your life on serving Jesus. If you do, God will honor you, bring meaning to your life, and make you fruitful.

God bless you,
