And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’” These words encapsulate the spirit of those who answered the call to defend and protect, leaving behind the comfort of their homes to ensure a safer world for us all.
As we honor their memory and the sacrifices of our veterans, let us also heed the message of John 15:13, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” The valor and camaraderie displayed by our veterans exemplify this profound love and commitment.
